WEBLATE offers integration with ChatGPT for translating keys.
This option isn't provided by default, but should be requested for individual projects. Contact your account manager to request access.
Each project with ChatGPT integration receives a $9 monthly credit for AI translations. Translation costs are deducted from this balance.
Credits are provided on the first day of each month and do not roll over; they reset to zero if unused.
Available credit for AI translations is visible in the topbar of the page and updates in real-time with each translation. If the credit is used up, AI translations are no longer available for that month.
The translation cost is based on technical interactions with ChatGPT. This means the price may vary for each translation, even if the word count is the same. Typically, around 40 translations cost approximately $0.04.
The Tenant role is required for adding and editing translations with AI.
If multiple users are assigned the Tenant role in a project with ChatGPT enabled, they all have access to AI translations and share the credit.
AI translations are available for all project languages, excluding English (the default language).
When editing translations in a project with ChatGPT enabled, you'll see the AI translation column with the Translate button for each key. Clicking it translates the Default translation (EN) to your selected language and adds it to the Translation field.
