in English
in a selected language, distinct from English (if provided)
Refer to Display logic in WebUI to understand the translation priorities.
Translation
The custom user-provided translation to a selected language. For keys containing plural forms, this value displays the Other form.
This field is initially empty and editable at any time.
Refer to Display logic in WebUI to understand the translation priorities.
For step-by-step instructions on managing translations, refer to the Manage translations section of this guide.
Next to this field, you can see either of two action buttons:
Reset to default: This button is displayed if the custom translation isn't empty and is used to reset the custom translation to a default one — either to a selected language (if the default translation for this language is provided) or to English.
Save as empty: This button is displayed if the custom translation is empty and is used to explicitly set the empty translation for the UI element.
Setting a custom translation to explicitly empty will result in no text display in your WebUI. Use this feature carefully and only when intentional.
AI translation
Displayed only for projects where AI translation is enabled. Contact your account manager to request access.
Not displayed for English language.
Click Translate to use ChatGPT for translating the default English translation to the selected language.
If there is no default English translation, this option won't be available.
